Hey, I’m Peter Hansen. I learned drainlaying from my Dad and spent years on the tools, learning everything there is to know about drainage and septic tanks. When I was in my 20s, my Dad suddenly passed away. It was a very hard time, and I still think of him most days. After that, I ran my Dad’s company for many years.
I’ve lived in North Canterbury all my life. It’s where I met my wife Claire, and where we’ve made our home and our family has grown.
We’ve always felt a strong connection with the community here, and in our spare time, we breed prize-winning Jersey cows.
With 18 years of experience in drainage and working on over 3,500 projects, there’s not much I haven’t seen. I was ready for a new challenge. In 2016, we decided it was time to start our own company. It has taken time and energy, but it’s rewarding to see how far we’ve come.
