How we got started…

Hey, I’m Peter Hansen. I learned drainlaying from my Dad. I spent years on the tools. Learning everything there is to know about drainage & septic tanks.

When I was in my 20’s, my Dad suddenly passed away. It was a very hard time. I still think of him most days.

I ran my Dad’s company for many years.

I’ve lived in North Canterbury all my life. It’s where I met my wife Claire. It’s where we’ve made our home as our family has grown & we’ve had our 6 kids.

We’ve always felt a strong connection with the community here & in our spare time we breed prize-winning Jersey Cows.

With 18 years experience in drainage, working on 3,500+ projects, there’s not much I haven’t seen. I was ready for a new challenge.

In 2016, we decided it was time to start our own company. It’s taken time & energy. But it’s rewarding to see how far we’ve come.
